Féminin Pluriel is a solo exhibition by Québec-based artist Pascale Bouchard at Reeves-Reed Arboretum, showcasing her unique encaustic technique using pigmented beeswax and heat. The event is open to all ages and highlights her distinctive artistic process.

A teen-only lock-in featuring 'Five Nights at Freddy's 2' gameplay, pizza, and popcorn. Open to ages 12+, registration required. Takes place after hours at the Millburn Library, with pickup at 7:45pm.

Family-friendly Discovery Weekends invite families with children ages 3 and up to explore the Arboretum’s gardens and grounds during autumn. Activities center around the Stackhouse Education Center.

A gentle, sensory-friendly storytime for children ages 4–8 and their caregivers, featuring interactive stories, songs, and activities. Designed to accommodate varying sensory needs in a supportive environment at Millburn Library.

A hands-on Minecraft-inspired archaeology adventure where kids uncover fossils, reconstruct dinosaurs, and build a museum — designed for grades 3–7 and led by Arrayscape Gaming.

Free guided tours of the Arboretum are offered most Saturdays at 10:30 am and 1:30 pm, open to all ages. Visitors can explore the grounds with knowledgeable guides.

The Metuchen Street Fair is a free, family- and pet-friendly summer festival in downtown Metuchen featuring 150+ food and craft vendors, live music, local shopping, and lively street-side fun for all ages.

The Summit Farmers Market operates every Sunday rain or shine from April to December at the Park & Shop Lot in downtown Summit, NJ. Bring the whole family to shop fresh local produce and goods from regional farmers and vendors.

Kids can drop off their stuffed animals for a fun sleepover camp at the library from August 17–26, with photos posted online. Designed for children, the event features camp-style activities and a nametag check-in at the Children's Desk.

A week-long summer camp for Pre-K–K children ages 4–5 at Reeves-Reed Arboretum. It features the educators’ favorite games and crafts, and is sold out.

A fun, interactive dance and movement class for babies and toddlers (ages 0–5) where adults join in singing, dancing, and developing fine motor skills together.

Lunch Buddies is a summer program for Pre-K–K (4–5 year olds) who attend morning camp and stay an extra hour for lunch, food, and fun activities.

Free, one-hour Lego building session for kids 8 and under (adults must accompany children 8 and younger). Takes place in the Millburn Library auditorium; registration required.

Learn to play Mah Jongg at the library! All levels welcome. Bring your own tiles/card or some will be provided.
