A Summit resident permit is required to enter the Transfer Station facility and for other resident-only services like parking on certain levels in the Broad Street garage and other resident-only lots. Summit residents can obtain a permit online or in person at the Parking Services Agency at City Hall on 512 Springfield Avenue. Events are held on the second Saturday of each month from 8AM to 3PM, and on the fourth Friday of each month from 12PM to 2PM (third Friday in November, no Friday event in December). No appointments are necessary.
