Story Time in Barnes & Noble Children's Department Watch your kids as they embark on an exciting adventure with our Storytime expert. We will introduce your little one to some of your childhood favorites, as well as read some you may have never heard before! Every Tuesday and Thursday at 10 a.m.

An enchanting Cream Tea at Wisner House overlooking the Arboretum’s grounds. Guests can choose from multiple seating times and enjoy a special tea service.

Féminin Pluriel is a solo exhibition by Québec-based artist Pascale Bouchard, showcasing her unique encaustic artworks at Reeves-Reed Arboretum. Open to all ages, the exhibit features layered, luminous pieces created with pigmented beeswax and heat.

Family-friendly Discovery Weekends invite families with children ages 3 and up to explore the Arboretum’s gardens and grounds during autumn. Activities center around the Stackhouse Education Center.

Join this joyful early morning goat yoga session in the garden, designed for adults and teens age 14+. A unique, uplifting fitness experience with playful goats.

Enjoy an elegant Afternoon Tea at Reeves-Reed Arboretum’s Wisner House, featuring fine teas, scones, sandwiches, and desserts, with a complimentary sparkling drink. Open to adults and children ages 13+ (children 7+ at 2:30 pm seating). Registration required.

The Saddle Brook Street Fair & Craft Show 2026 brings local artisans, food trucks, and live entertainment to downtown Saddle Brook, NJ. Suitable for all ages, the event offers handmade crafts, delicious food, and community celebration along Market and Mayhill Streets.

The Summit Farmers Market operates every Sunday rain or shine from April through December at the Park & Shop Lot in downtown Summit, NJ. Open 8AM–1PM, it features local farmers and vendors and is free to attend—ideal for families and community shoppers.

A monthly Red Cross blood drive held at Summit Fire Headquarters in September 2026. Open to all residents; donations help patients in need. Appointments encouraged.

Donate any unwanted, yard sale-quality items, and browse other donated items for free. Visitors are limited to 60 minutes at each Summit Free Market event. No unsorted boxes or bags will be accepted. A Summit resident permit is required to enter the Transfer Station facility and for other resident-only services like parking on certain levels in the Broad Street garage and other resident-only lots. Summit Free Market events are held on the second Saturday of each month from 8AM to 3PM, and on the fourth Friday of each month from 12PM to 2PM (third Friday in November, no Friday event in December). Events are held at the City of Summit Transfer Station on 40 New Providence Ave. No appointments are necessary.
